Education and Background

Robert Arentz graduated from Michigan State University in 1973 with honors. Following that, Mr. Arentz attended Pepperdine University School of Law in 1978. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Arizona, State of California, and various Federal Courts including the United States Supreme Court. Since 1978 Mr. Arentz has been practicing criminal law as both a prosecutor and as a criminal defense lawyer.

Mr. Arentz assisted in the creation of the Cochise County, Arizona, Public Defender’s Office in 1984. He subsequently served as the director of that office for more than five years. Mr. Arentz also served as Chairman of the State Bar of Disciplinary Hearing Committee.
